Is YTA Method A Scam?

The YTA Method is an abbreviation of YouTube Animation, and it’s a training Masterclass that goes for eight weeks.

The program came into life in the year 2020 and its main aim was to teach you the best way of making passive income through YouTube.

Caleb Maddix, the creator, partnered with Devon to facilitate the training in YTA Method.

Also, Caleb Maddix claims that YTA is an ideal course for those who wish to make an extra income online, without necessarily relying on someone’s technical skills.

As a fact, YTA Method claims that you don’t need to do movie editing or perform on-camera functions, because you’ll be taught how to design automated YouTube Channels.

And you’ll achieve this by identifying YouTube channels with rich views and content in particular market gaps.

With the help of virtual assistants, it will be easy to make slight changes to the existing YouTube channels.

But if you’re after originality, then this program is not suitable for you because it teaches you the concept of identifying an existing idea, channel, or work and modifying it to make more money out of that idea.

What I Like About YTA Method

  • Suitable for people who want an extra source of income.

Caleb explains that this is an ideal way to earn passive income online.

Also, it will work best for anyone who wants to use YouTube to make money from doing their online digital business.

  • Easy to Start.

This is very easy compared to other training programs equivalent to this training program.

What I Don’t Like About YTA Method

  • It uses a controversial method

YTA Method trains you to duplicate other pre-existing videos.

This may cause copyright issues because you might encounter massive complaints from the content creators.

And if you continue with such a trend, you might be flagged down by YouTube authorities, and eventually, you might be banned from YouTube.

  • Caleb’s YouTube channel does not have enough subscribers.

Even though the YTA training program will train you to build and grow your YouTube channel and use it to make money.

On the contrary, his channel has fewer subscribers because it has about 30k subscribers.

This is likely to happen if you apply his method.

  • It requires a significant upfront payment.

The cost of joining this program is quite expensive, plus the extra cost you will incur to hire virtual assistants who will work on your channel.

This is the process of automating your YouTube Channel.

  • It has minimal ad revenue.

As a YouTube creator, you will earn minimal revenue.

On average, you can receive about $18 from 1,000 views.

This is equivalent to between $3 and $5 for every 1,000.

As an experienced YouTube content creator, I understand that getting these a thousand viewers is an uphill task.

Is There Any Alternative To YTA Method?

Yes, there is a better alternative to YTA Method.

And affiliate marketing stands as the best choice for beginners who want to be online prospectors.

With this business model, you can rest assured that you’ll NOT lose any of your hard-earned money.

This is an area I’m currently in, and I can tell you without blinking that I’ve seen my business grow exponentially over time (you can check that from here).

With patience and diligence, I can promise you that success will come your way.

  1. Hi Jason – With the growth of YouTube over the years it’s great to see that there are so many ways that content creators can monetize their videos and content. That being said, with all that opportunity usually comes a lot of gurus who try to cash in as well. I’m sure there is some good information to be learned from the YTA course but to me it doesn’t seem like a sustainable model in the long run. It’s also a lot of money up front and as you mentioned, the 30 day money back guarantee doesn’t seem trustworthy. Thank you for writing this review as it provided me with some great info, I appreciate you sharing your expertise!

  2. Hi Jason,
Someone had mentioned the YTA method, but now that I have read the review, I am unsure about proceeding with this investment. Learning that the training focuses on creating duplicate pre-existing YouTube channels and using them to generate income without building my own YouTube videos is risky. As you rightly deduced – what if YouTube eventually gets to know about this?

I would much rather go with a good program that teaches how to enter the market by creating your own videos.

    Thanks
    Ceci

    1. Hi Ceci, thanks for sharing your thoughts.

An alternative program that teaches this business model is called Tube Mastery and Monetization.

It’s one that I reviewed on my Youtube channel and it is known as the best one out there.

You can check it out and make comparisons if you like.
      All the best.

  3. Hi,

This is a great review thanks!

It seems to me there’s too much emphasis on – if you don’t like to do x but you want to make lots of money then I’ve got a method for you.

Personally, I think people should look for a YouTube video and start having a go.

YouTube is something that people should love to do but if they’re only in for it for the money then they’re probably onto a losing battle, unless maybe you’ve got loads of money to throw into it and you’re quite used to hiring people to do work for you. But even then I think it pays to know what you actually want these people to do.

    Julia

    1. I agree with that, Julia. Knowing how to do something is always beneficial. That way, you can hire the right people when you’re ready to scale.

  4. Thanks for your review on the YTA Method program that teaches people how to make money from their video channels on YouTube. It will help people decide if it’s good or not.

I have to say that I am a little skeptical about it, but I appreciate your thoroughness in your research.

From what you’ve said, it seems like the program is mainly focused on duplicating other people’s videos. This is not only unethical but also illegal. Also, it’s important to note that there are a lot of duplicate videos out there. So, if you’re paying for the YTA Method, you might not be getting unique content. That’s definitely something to keep in mind.

And the cost is much as well. In the long run, I don’t think one stands a chance of making so much money with this method.

While this is not a scam, one just has to weigh the pros and cons carefully before making a decision.

    Cheers,
    Femi.

  5. We like that you explained the YTA program and after reading your article we are not going with YTA instead we are going with your alternative. This is a better route to go down. It will not give you duplicate platforms to use. Gives you valuable advice to work off of.
Thank you so much for this uncovering YTA I’m sure many had questions like me.
We can now make an informed decision.

    Cheers,
    MnD

  6. YTA method seems like a legitimate training course on YouTube marketing, but the price is too much for beginners. If people are diligent enough, they will find free blog posts and Youtube videos to do the same.

I don’t really like to outsource work to Fiverr freelancers in the beginning since you won’t learn much about your online business. What if they run away and you cannot keep the quality of your YouTube videos? It’s better to know everything by yourself at first. For 2022, I believe the best way to make affiliate commissions is to combine a blog and a YouTube Channel. Do you agree?

    Matt

    1. Oh yeah, I definitely agree with you. Youtube combined with a blog is very effective! Not just for 2022, but far beyond that.

Thanks for chiming in with your comment, Matt!
