You are already experienced with writing and creating content for your students, so this won’t be a problem.

Where To Find Affiliate Programs To Promote As A Teacher?

Now, as an affiliate marketer, finding the best and most relevant products or services to promote to your audience is important.

You can find various kinds of affiliate programs by going to Google and typing in “your niche + affiliate program”

So for example, suppose you were going to be creating content about textbooks and wanted to promote them on your website.

All you would have to do is go to Google and type in “text book + affiliate program”

This would bring up several options for you to filter through and choose from.

When you find a good one, simply sign up.

Once you get approved, you’ll be able to get access to your  affiliate links and other tools to start promoting.

Another way for you to get access to affiliate programs is by joining an affiliate network such as Share-A-Sale, or Commission Junction.

These networks will have many different types of companies on the inside who will pay you commissions whenever you refer a paying consumer to them.

And the good thing is that since these companies are already vetted by these affiliate networks, you won’t have to stress if a company is safe to work with or not.

What Do You Need To Get Started As An Affiliate Marketer?

First of all, you are going to need a platform where you can create content from and share it with an audience.

For this, I recommend having your own website.

Having a Youtube channel is also a great idea, especially if you are comfortable showing your face on camera.

Whichever platform you choose is really up to you. There is no right or wrong choice here.

You can even chose to do both, but I would suggest you first become a master at one, then move on the next one to expand your reach.

Social media platforms such as FB and Twitter are also useful, so it’s a good idea to connect them to your website for easy sharing whenever time you produce new content.

An Effective/Good Keyword Tool

You will need a KEYWORD RESEARCH TOOL to get important data on keywords before you create any content.

You’ll need to know information such as:

• The number of people searching for the keyword per month (I have learned that 100 or more people is a good number to start with)
• How competitive the keyword is to rank for (meaning the number of other people trying to rank for that exact keyword)

NB: Without a keyword research tool, you will be “shooting in the dark” and wasting a lot of your own precious time so make a mental note that it’s an essential tool that you’ll need to do affiliate marketing.

The Most Vital Thing

PROPER EXPERT TRAINING: You will need to learn how to write your content, structure it, monetize it, promote it, and ensure that you provide good value and a great user experience for your audience.
